Welcome to Makipuro Productions "The Hatbox" debut- A sensational success After all is said and done "The Hatbox" was a great success. All shows were sold out (over 600 people), we couldn't ask for more. Before we go on, we would like to thank: Marcia (director) and Matti (technical director), The Finn Players of Canterbury (in our hearts always), FAHS (Canterbury), Aura Hall (Voluntown), Alia for editing, the Finn Funn Weekend committtee, The Windsor Marriott, the food preps and cleanup crews, Scott for video production, photography, press, publicity, our family and most of all thanks to all of you who came to share in our human interest story. In retrospect, we are so proud of all those who made this production work. We can't thank Matti enough for all the tierless work he did in designing the sets. He not only was technical director but he was stage manager, lighting engineer, prop person, set designer, and moved the set from performence to performance (amazing). Marcia for her guidance in directing the play. She worked so well with everyone involved, showing her gifts of vision, artistry and patience. The players for taking the time out of their busy lives and giving life to the characters in this story. Pictures of "The Hatbox" click here.
