 It is 50 pages!

The third song is called "Learn to Fly" I recorded a demo of it a few years ago. The audio link is below so you can hear it.  I am arranging it for lead voice, chorus and band.  This will be uploaded soon.

     Here is the last song in the concert.  The song is "Faces". Some of you have already done this piece.  I am giving you the full score in pdf format and an audio file of the song.  So you will have to make sure you have Adobe Acrobat downloaded.  Here is the link (Adobe Acrobat Reader link- Note: make sure to deselect google toolbar if you are not interested before downloading). 

Please print out the music (a black 3 ring binder will be given to you at the first rehearsal).  Don't be concerned if you can not follow the score with the audio.  If this music is new to you, I will be posting the parts separately which will make it easier to follow.  Just listen and try to follow along with the music.

This piece is about 15 minutes in length and is 50 pages long... It is the most complicated of the songs and will require some work.  If you feel it is over your level of singing please let me know.  I was considering hand picking people for this piece but I do not want to make that choice, so it is up to you.  Hakuna Matatah... means no worries!  It is OK for you to do only 2 songs...  We will make every effort to make things work!

Ok... so here is the deal. This recording is from the composing program I use called finale. It is a great program but it has some issues with what... shall I call ummm "the human touch".  Certain nuances are missing like, well the lyrics and umm the dynamics and well the fermatas do not work in the program... ... ... ... By the way this is a fermata

You will see this fermata at the end of each section of the music.  This is a pause or hold of the pitch which it is over.  So pay attention to where these are while listening.  Anyway for now here is this version there will be more on 8/30 which is Monday.
